Gold Coast University Hospital Visit A few club members visited the Gold Coast University Hospital recently to check out the recently acquired Examination Chair. It is located in the Child Protection Unit which is a fabulous area colourfully decorated to help ease the trauma of children who are suffering from physical or psychological trauma.   |

Arundel Park Riding for Disabled
Arundel Park Riding for the Disabled On Friday 2nd December 2022 - our club members visited the complex at Arundel Park Riding for the Disabled. To celebrate extensive renovations for the ARDA caretaker's cottage Southport Broadwater Rotary Club member's joined volunteers, management and friends for a relaxed breakfast and information session followed by a walk through viewing of the beautiful new kitchen and wall cladding and guttering. It was a really positive end to a busy week for many and fantastic to see so much hard work come to fruition and hear about the excellent services provided by the Riding for the Disabled for so many families in a myriad of different ways. Good news for the horses too - they are off on a month's holiday in the country to feast on green grass and relax by the 'dams' before starting the new year fresh.... Haha.
