Show Up for your Health and Wellbeing

Joan McEwan is a Leadership, Health and Wellbeing Coach and was an inspiring speaker at today's Rotary breakfast.


Joan told us about her life from Scotland to Australia, and talked about Mental and Physical Health and how to "Show UP" and take personal responsibility around our Health and Wellbeing.

The 3 key takeaways were: -

1. Nurture yourself - self care is critical to personal and professional development. Take time to connect your body, mind and spirit. Take yourself out of your comfort zone and be vulnerable - that is when the growth happens
2. Nutrition - eat nutritionally rich food, clean food and filtered water. This will help strengthen and detoxify your body. Raising the body vibration and amplifying your energy
3. Capacity - Manage your professional and professional workload. Check in and see if your workload aligns with your vision, purpose and values! Clear out what is no longer working or useful and make space for the "New". Develop a "growth focus"
